To Apply for federal, state or university funding, students must complete a Free Appilcation for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). www.studentaid.gov/

Student and Parent tax returns

step:1 In order to complete the FAFSA , students and/or parents will need to have filed his/her income taxes. 

Do this as quickly as possible, the (FASFA IRS Data Retrieval) process will not be available until several weeks after your taxes have been filed.

 

Obtain your (PIN) and complete fafsa

step:2 Apply for your FSA ID, Parents of dependent students must also obtain a FSA ID so that they too can sign in online. If you have already obtained a (PIN) and NOT a FSA ID you may use your (PIN) to access your perivous information when you register your FAS ID online. To obtain a FSA ID visit https://studentaid.gov/fsa-id/create-account/launch. Once this is done, completely fillout your FAFSA application to apply for financial aid at www.studentaid.gov.

To complete the FAFSA, students (and most likely parents) will need to have filed an income tax return

Checking Status and Accepting your Awards

 

Review your student aid report (SAR), you should be notifed by the Department of Education Via email within 3-5 business days that your report is ready to be viewed. Correct any errors and/or provide any addtional documentation needed. Contact your campus branch in order to seek progess on your application status, wait paticently you will be notified shortly if your application was accepted or declined.
